FAQ

Can I store my cutlery in the fridge or freezer?
All of our cutlery can be stored in the fridge, but be careful with freezer cutlery, as drastic temperature changes can cause ceramic cutlery to crack. While cutlery can be frozen, do not move directly from the freezer to the oven.

How do I clean and care for my knives?
Cleaning and caring for knives can be tricky, so make sure safety is always your priority!

It is best to hand wash your knives with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth immediately after use. Please note: leaving your knives with food residue will make cleaning more difficult and require more vigorous scrubbing. This will also cause the blade to dull faster.

After hand washing, immediately dry your knives thoroughly with an absorbent towel and store them in the included sheath or in a stopper or magnetic strip to help protect the blade.

We also recommend that you sharpen your everyday chef’s knife and precision paring knife regularly to keep the blade sharp.

Serrated slicing knives do not need to be sharpened frequently, but you can have them professionally sharpened as needed.

How do I keep my non-stick coating in good condition?
We are glad you asked! Our non-toxic ceramic non-stick coating is easy to care for! To keep the non-stick coating in great condition, we recommend that you:
Stick to high smoke point oils and avoid all cooking sprays.
Use low to medium heat when using on the stovetop and follow the oven-safe limits we recommend for your product.
Use only soft, non-metal utensils to avoid scratches (such as the included beechwood spatula or spoon!).
No dishwasher required – hand washing with mild dishwashing liquid and a soft sponge is fine!

What is your return policy?
Unless otherwise stated, we offer hassle-free exchanges or returns within 30 days of shipping to your home or purchase in-store. If you need to return an item by mail, please contact our Customer Service team. We recommend that you use the original packaging, but any box that can be safely shipped will do (except for knives, see below)! You must ship the item back before you can get a refund or exchange (if applicable).

If you are returning a knife, please carefully pack the original packaging and follow the relevant carrier’s rules for shipping knives.
